Privacy approach

Your screen stays under your control.

CaptureStack prepares visual sessions locally and lets you decide what leaves the app. A capture request is not permission to browse your PC or silently upload your screen.

Privacy review gate: controller identity, retention periods, provider roles, legal bases, and regional rights language still require final owner and counsel approval.

What the app may process

The Windows app may process user-selected screenshots, local image history, clipboard output, annotations, OCR text when supported OCR is used, and voice or transcript data only when those specific features are enabled and used.

What the website may process

The public website and checkout may process purchase email, selected product, order identifiers, payment status, license delivery state, recovery state, and support messages. PayPal handles the payment flow; CaptureStack issues the software license after verification.

What CaptureStack does not do by default

No silent screen uploadCaptureStack does not automatically send captures to external AI tools or cloud services.
No hidden PC accessA compatible agent receives only the approved result, not open access to windows, files, keystrokes, or private folders.

Rights and contact

Where privacy laws apply, individuals may have rights to access, correction, erasure, restriction, objection, portability, consent withdrawal where consent is used, and complaint to a competent authority. The public contact route is [email protected].
